General Information for all registrants of our regular spring season.  Some of the information below may or may not pertain to everyone if you are registering specifically for our winter/spring clinics.

WHO:

Dover Youth Softball League is open to players ages 4 - 16 (as of 12/31 last year) who are residents of Dover, Somersworth, and Rollinsford, NH or So. Berwick, Berwick, No. Berwick and Eliot, ME.  We also accept players who go to any of the schools in those communities regardless of their residence (e.g., Portsmouth Christian Academy, Berwick Academy, Tri-City Christian Academy, Seacoast Charter School).

WHEN:

League play starts in late March with assessments for players 10U and older.  Teams are then formed in all  division levels and indoor practices begin the following week.  You will be contacted by your player’s coach and then may find the complete indoor schedule on the website.  Additionally, all info about your team will be found in the dropdown menu under the Teams button on the website's horizontal menu.  Please refer to that often throughout the season.

HOW:

All registrations take place online through the website (http://www.doversoftball.com/).

DYSL expects payment at the time of registration.  Our system will delete all unpaid regsitrations after 15 days. You may edit a registration for the purpose of payment during this window.  If you're in need of financial assitance please reach out to the Board of Directors for options.

Returning players (members) should log into their account and start the registration from that point.

• Click the Orange "Register Now" button on the home page and follow the directions for registration.

After registering:

• Please verify and/or update all your contact info and that of your player too.  There are multiple tabs containing info. Please check them all.
• IMPORTANT: Please identify how you prefer to receive notifications (email or text). When selecting text notifications please choose the "Roster" option in the first drop-down menu and then select your cell phone carrier (e.g., Verizon, AT&T, etc.) in the second option.
• We request you mail a copy of your player's birth certificate to validate her birth date. Please send a hard copy us at:

• Once verified we will make sure to shred the document.  Thanks.
