The Coaching Application form is required for anyone desiring to be a coach of any DYSL sponsored team. On the form is submitted the board must approve the person to coach in the league. Then, through Babe Ruth League the applicant must submit to on online background check, a Cod of Conduct acknowledgement and Abuse Prevention Systems training. Additionally, one additional training class is required by the City of Dover.
DYSL requires this form for all players prior to each event for 2021 to help protect our players, their teammates, and their families. It is developed from the State of NH guidance on Amateur and Youth Sports.
Responding “Yes” to any question disqualifies participation in the event. Please keep your player at home, safe and healthy.
The Dover Youth Softball League is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization formed with the mission of overseeing organized youth softball, provide an enjoyable training ground for softball players, and promote good sportsmanship, good citizenship and the value of teamwork. DYSL is open to players aged 4 to 16 to residents of Dover, Somersworth, Rollinsford, NH and Eliot, South Berwick, North Berwick, Berwick, and Lebanon, ME. It is the generosity of our sponsors that has allowed DYSL to provide a fun and competitive program for many children each year.

As a DYSL Summer Team sponsor your support helps defray the costs to our players for uniforms, tournaments, and travel as they may advance through playoffs and to various tournaments during the summer months.
All donations to Dover Youth Softball League are tax deductible as we are tax exempt registered 501(c) 3 organization and a registered Charitable Organiztion with the State of New Hampshire's Department of Justice.
DYSL uses these funds to help offset the operation of the league, including better equipment, maintaining our two softball fields, and general services for our players and members.
