Good Afternoon,

First of all, we would like to say, we really enjoyed coaching this team!!!  They have been a pleasure to be around all season.  It's been a wonderful journey with them, starting in the gym at Woodman park and ending with a "win" last night.  In the process of the season we saw great improvements in all of the girls.  We hope they enjoyed the season as well.  They seemed very happy last night about the season.  We encourage them to continue to play softball, this can include playing catch at home, enrolling in camps and possibly playing fall softball (if that occurs).  With all the games that we played, the ones that stand out are the Jamboree games at Barrington.  We had so much fun that weekend!!!  It felt like that weekend, we really became a team.  The girls were cheering for each other and were really excited for one another.

Secondly, We have been keeping the stats for the team (hitting and pitching).  We have been constantly telling the girls, they get on base and when they do, they score runs.  The final Team stats for hitting are as follows:

Team Batting Average = .314 (All-star caliber)

Team On Base Percentage = .549 (All-star caliber, really an unbelievable number.  Better than 1 out of 2 at bats, a player gets on base.  Kudos to them)

Lastly, We have our end of season banquet/get together on Tuesday, June 28th from 5:30 - ?.  This will occur at Southside Field.  If there is a parent that would like to start a Signup Genius for food and drinks that would be awesome.  In the past we have had pizza, drinks, cupcakes and snacks to celebrate the girls.  When someone starts the Signup Genius, they can send it to me and I can email the families as well as post it on our DYSL page.

Good Evening,

We can't wait to see our team again.  After the Jamboree (keep in mind we gave up the fewest runs during pool play), this team is awesome to be part of.  They have improved so much from day 1.  We have always been strong at the plate and on the bases, and now we are playing defense.  We can't wait to see how the season ends (it's coming fast, too fast).  This weeks schedule is as follows:

1.  6/14 (H) to DeStafano 6-7:30

Please arrive by 5:15, positive warm-up!!!

2.  6/16 (H) to Newmarket 6-7:30 (This game may be changed to KSB)
